Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts toasted
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves smashed
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- salt & pepper
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper optional

Instructions
- Toast pine nuts in sauce pan until fragrant. Let cool then add to food processor.
- Add basil, garlic, lemon juice, parmesan, crushed red pepper and salt and pepper to food processor.
- Pulse until well combined.
- Slowly add olive oil until sauce is smooth, but do not over pulse.
